Our SaaS Platform Just Got a Major Upgrade

Over the past two quarters our engineering and design teams have been quietly rebuilding some of the oldest parts of the Veltro platform. Today that work ships. This release touches nearly every corner of the product, so here is a plain-language tour of what changed and why it matters for your day-to-day work.

Faster where it counts

We rewrote the data layer that powers dashboards and reports. Pages that used to fetch everything up front now load the visible content first and stream the rest in the background. In practice, large workspaces open noticeably faster, filters apply without a full reload, and exports run as background jobs so you can keep working while they finish. We also trimmed the client bundle, which helps most on slower connections and older laptops.

A dashboard you can shape

The redesigned dashboard drops the fixed layout in favor of movable, resizable panels. Pin the metrics your team actually checks each morning, collapse what you rarely need, and save layouts per project. Nothing about your underlying data changed: existing reports carry over as saved panels, so there is no migration work on your side.

Integrations, opened up

This release adds a redesigned integrations directory and, more importantly, a public webhook system. Any event in your workspace can now push to the tools your team already lives in, and inbound connectors let external systems create and update records without manual imports. If you have an internal tool you want to connect, the new developer documentation inside the app walks through authentication and payload formats step by step.

Security, tightened by default

Behind the scenes we rolled out finer-grained roles, so admins can grant exactly the access a teammate needs and nothing more. Session handling is stricter, audit logs now cover every change to workspace settings, and data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Most of this you will never see, which is the point.

The best platform upgrades are the ones users stop noticing after a week, because the product simply feels like it always should have.

The upgrade rolls out to all workspaces automatically over the coming days. As always, tell us what feels better, and tell us louder what still does not.
